Academic Awards

Another post about all of the awards the girls get is kind of braggy and a little boring...BUT, here goes anyway.  At the awards for seniors this year each department passed out an award to the one senior who stood out.  Rachel actually received an award from 2 of the departments!  She was presented with an award from her FFA adviser for the Electives department and also from her AP Spanish teacher for the Languages department.  It was pretty sweet because Mrs. Lempke commented on the way she was so proud of how enthusiastic Rachel always was to learn not only the Spanish language but the cultural/social aspects as well.  Recognition was also given for scholarships that the seniors had received.  Rachel was acknowledged for several scholarships including an FFA scholarship, a Leadership scholarship from the PPO as well as her Presidential Scholarship.
