Our annual summer trip to California was crammed full of fun and lots of family visits.. We managed to get to LA to see Uncle Cody and he joined us at the Getty museum. We all loved it and can't wait to go back. Lunch at Joan's on Third was yummy and seeing the Hollywood sign while in Cody's neighborhood was super cool.
We squeezed in a few beach trips and also an early morning walk on the beach with just Hannah. Stacey took Hannah's senior pictures in Encinitas and that was a fun day topped off with breakfast at Swammis. We celebrated the 4th of July with a parade in Grandma and Grandpa's neighborhood in which Emma rode Grandpa's bike in the the parade route. Fireworks and games were then enjoyed at Uncle Mark and Aunt Diane's house. We also had Emma's scoliosis check up and found out that she would no longer need to wear her brace! That was a good day that we celebrated with shopping at UTC and lunch at Lemonade. Our trip included a couple of hikes for Matt and I which were really nice.
