Halloween

This year our Halloween was spent split up as a family.  See...it's never going to be the same again now that Rachel is graduating!  Hannah had a theater competition in Albuquerque so Matt and I drove there to pick her up.  We used it as an opportunity to hike the La Luz trail in the Sandia Mountains.  We had wanted to hike to the top and take the tram down but we got a late start on the 4 hour drive to Albuquerque so we decided to save that for another trip.  We were able to hike up a couple of hours and then hike back down.  It was an awesome hike and we are really looking forward to getting all the way to the top. While we were in Albuquerque Rachel and Emma stayed home to get ready for Halloween together.  Rachel then went to a party at Haley's house while Emma went to a party at her friend Maddie's house.  Everyone had a great time but I kind of missed the good ole days when we would spend Halloween with the Salas family going trick or treating.
