State Cross Country Meet

This weekend Hannah participated in her state cross country meet in Rio Rancho.  She traveled with the team on Friday and we joined her early Saturday morning.  We awoke at 4 am to make the long drive up to the Northern part of the state to support Hannah.  She did well and was mostly happy with her race.  She said that the course was easier than she thought it would be and she wished she had not saved so much energy for the finish and gone faster during.  The weather was absolutely gorgeous so that was a good thing....last year Rachel went to state and it was only in the low 30's when she ran.  After the race we stayed to watch Sydney and Thomas race in their races.  They both did well.  Sydney got 16th overall in the state which was awesome...we were so proud of all the kids.
