Epicurious Pizza Party



Emma always was a party animal

Epicurious hosted a pizza party for all of the winners at our hotel.  They menu included yummy homemade whole wheat pizza, salad, fruit, milk, and a delicious oatmeal cookie.  The kids enjoyed meeting each other and signing their cookbooks.  We also signed each of the recipes for a book that was given to Mrs. Obama.  Tanya Steele, the Epicurious editor, also gave us all the details for the luncheon the next day.  What to expect, where to go, and what time to be there.  After synchronizing our watches we were off to an early bedtime of 8:30.  Unfortunately, Emma and I were a bit excited that night so our bedtime was a little later than that.....we had to discuss all the cool things that had happened so far and would be happening in the morning.  We also had to perfect what we were each planning to say to Mrs. Obama when we met her.....
