Band Festival

Rachel competed in the Southwest music festival competition last week. Her middle school band performed 3 pieces of music for the judges and received the highest scores possible. It was so fun to watch all of these really dedicated kids play their instruments. Matt and I were so proud of Rachel. I should preface the video by saying that Matt took it...which should speak for itself. We are not exactly the most technologically minded people and that is reflected in the recording job! Rachel is the blurry kid in the front row playing the flute. Wait, aren't they all blurry kids? Anyway, the music part is what matters most. The titles of the pieces are Kentucky Pride and Pevensey Castle
