whole lotta bakin goin on...
About 6 months ago, as a family, we decided to get rid of all processed foods from our diet. We have always eaten pretty healthy so, for the most part, it was easy. Some things still surprise us as to how processed they are. Anyway, as part of the new plan we decided to make all of our bread products oursleves. We started simple with our Friday night pizza dough and gradually progressed to sandwich bread and then on to whole wheat tortillas for our weekly burrito night and finally, some pretty darn good naan bread. Saturdays are usually our bread making days and that is when you will find Hannah kneading away. She has taken on the task of making sandwich bread for the week. She started out just helping and now she does the whole process by herself. Including the 10-15 minutes of kneading. She says it is good experience for when she owns her own bakery...I say, thank goodness for Hannah!!
I should send her some gluten free recipes and have her work her magic. I just cant seem to get them right...
