Track meet in the heat!!

Yesterday we spent the day at Rachel's track meet. She was on the 4x200 relay team. It was over 100 degrees and stinkin hot! She had a good time but it was really miserable weather to run in. The parents tried to keep the kids hydrated and in the shade. At the end of the day she was wiped out and considering the fact that she only ran 1 race, it was more from heat exhaustion than anything else. Oh well. Rachel and Hannah start the summer swim team next week and they will be using the indoor pool so I can stop worrying so much about sun safety.
