Hannah recently competed in her state FCCLA competition. She won in the job interview category which qualified her to got to Nationals in DC this summer! She was required to select an actual job that she could get and complete the entire process as if she were actually applying for it. She chose a volunteer position with Food Corp America. The contest is judged based on your portfolio as well as the actual interview with the judges. Such a great learning experience for when she is actually in the job market. She also won a $1000 scholarship. Unfortunately, it is for a school in Colorado specifically, so she won't be able to take it. She also competed in the team crudites event and earned silver. She also managed to make the cutest darn fruit owl tray I ever did see! She had a great time and is really excited to get to go to DC this summer.
