FFA keeps Rachel busy and very happy!

the FFA season started with a weekend in Albuquerque at the Leadership conference.  Fun was had, leadership was gained, and dancing was done!  The rest of  the spring was spent working on her FFA events.  She competed in Food Science and Horse Judging.  She was so dedicated and did really well at the events.  They required lots of early mornings on Saturdays when she would rather be sleeping in but she was dedicated until the end. Just this weekend she competed in the Sate Conference.  I am happy to report that she received 2nd place overall in the individual Food Science portion as well as 2nd place for her team portion.  There are over 1000 members state wide so she did really well and we were so happy to see all of her hard work rewarded.
