Christmas 2014
Christmas morning did not bring us any snow and barley any cold weather, but it did bring us lots of joy nonetheless. We opted to open presents a little later this year so we could deliver some homemade cinnamon rolls to our neighbor and to The Radke Family. (Emma walks their dog Berkie)
After eating our own cinnamon rolls we dug into the gifts that Santa had brought for the girls. I would say that Ray's favorite gift was her new cowboy boots, Hannah particularly enjoyed It was her slipper boots and fuzzy new robe, and Emma was pretty excited about her orange duffel bag for soccer. Christmas dinner was the usual ensemble of Pot roast, green beans and mashed potatoes and it was yummy even though Matt inadvertently drained all the pot roast liquid into the sink without a bowl under it...there went my gravy. Oh, and our cranberry jello salad did not set up so it looked more like cranberry jello mush. Aside from the minor cooking mishaps, it was a fantastic day.
