Thanskgiving travels....

We spent Thanksgiving week in San Diego celebrating with family and friends. The week began with a hike to the top of Mt. Woodson and a stop at Potato Chip Rock.  The day was absolutely beautiful and we were even able to see all the way to the coast from the top.  We hiked with The Bronson brood as well as with Stacey and Case.  Unfortunately, Donny could not join us because he was sick.... :(   We also managed to squeeze in another hike while visiting Temecula to see Uncle John and Aunt Anne.  Again, the day was gorgeous.  After the hike the girls were treated to a root beer in Old Town, which I am sure more than made up for the fact that we forced them to hike while on vacation, yet again. Later that night, we were able to visit with Darlene and Zach over a delicious dinner made by John and Anne.  The rest of the week was spent  hanging out with Uncle Brian and Grandma and Grandpa getting ready for the big dinner.  We were also excited to see Uncle Mark and family early in the week for dinner and boardgames.  As usual, lots of yummy food was consumed and lots of fun games were played on Thanksgiving.  We had a particularly rousing game of "say what" that had Aunt Diane doing a spot on impression of Ellen DeGeneres!  I hope this game keeps making an appearance at Kenney family functions.....it was nice to get a break from the usual strategy (the kind where you sit around for 5 hours and watch the Kenney brothers think about what their next turn will be) games that are usually played.  On Friday we finished the week with a trip to Mark and Diane's house.  The girls were excited to have spent the night on Thanksgiving and even more excited to try SUP on Friday.  Thanks Aunt Diane and Uncle Mark for helping to make this happen!  We packed up and headed home on Saturday.
