Red Carpet Event

 

Tonight, we attended a premiere for the film showcasing Emma's trip to the White House.  All of the students who completed the project had their films shown. The event was sponsored by the school nutrition services department and they provided a very nice appetizer party for all in attendance.  They did such a good job with the whole evening....from the red carpet that was rolled out right down to the delicious healthy food they prepared.  At the end of the screenings, awards for best film were presented.  Emma's film won for best overall middle school production.  The girls who produced it did an outstanding job.  They were 7th grade media magnet students from a local school.  What a fun night!
