Last week we ventured to San Diego for Thanksgiving.  We have spent every year in San Diego since I can remember, and we love it.  The fun started out with a visit to the Bronson family.  Thanks so much to the whole gang for hosting us.  As usual, Stac and Case also joined us for some yummy dinner and game playing.  We really appreciate how everyone accommodates us when we come in to town and tries to spend as much time hanging out with us as they can.   The girls went shopping on Sunday while the boys stayed home to watch the Chargers lose again play.....  the kids baked cookies.  Rachel was not feeling too hot when we left New Mexico, so she laid low and tried to recuperate.  After a great time at the Bronsons we were off to the Wills house in Temecula.  We were treated to a very delicious dinner and more game playing.  We also took a beautiful hike in Julian and Zach and Grandpa were able to join us.  Thank you to the Anne and John for always making us feel so comfortable when we come to stay with you and for all the laughs while we are there.  We are already looking forward to seeing you again in Telluride.  After the relaxing time at the Wills house, we headed to Grandma and Grandpa's house in Poway.  We spent the rest of the week there getting ready for and enjoying Thanksgiving.  Brain was able to hang out and play games almost every evening.  We also made a quick trip to the tide pools.  We are so thankful to get to spend the week seeing friends and family in San Diego.  After a long (way too long) drive home we are adjusting to the routine again and getting ready for Christmas.
