Houston, We have liftoff (sort of)

The girls finished up their Rocketry project last week with the launch. Emma launched her orange creamsicle rocket and unfortunately, it launched into a remote part of the desert. We sent out a search party and were able to recover the rocket but it was in several pieces. Rachel and Hannah worked on their project together this year and launched a Despicable Me themed rocket. Their rocket was launched with only 2 fins instead of 3 after a slight mishap in the building stage (Someone stepped on it while it was laying around in the garage waiting for the paint to dry!) It still managed to launch though so the girls were happy. Thanks Matt for leading the project and for a very fun day.
