Happy Birthday Hannah....

On Sunday Hannah turned 12 years old!! We had a fantastic day celebrating everything there is to love about Hannah. More on that at the end of the post.... The girls managed to get in the first pool time of the season thanks to Matt's hard work getting it all spruced up...we watched Beauty and the Beast...we played games...we had a water balloon fight...and we just generally hung out and relaxed. This year Hannah broke from tradition and requested macaroni and cheese for dinner instead of her usual green chile casserole. She found a recipe that included bacon and she said "what could be better than bacon in your macaroni and cheese, Mom" so bacon it was...triple chocolate cake with a side of scoopy's custard was on the menu for dessert. A very nice day with a very nice girl! Speaking of very nice girls.... Hannah banana, you make me smile everyday. Your wacky sense of humor cracks me up and makes your Dad so proud. Your crazy all day dialects are hilarious. (you now sound like you may be a little bit Russian at all times) Your kind manner and loyal heart are so sweet. The way you read to Emma everyday after school....the countless times you offer to help out with whatever it is that I may be doing...Hannah you are all of these things and so much more. I love you.
