We traveled to Colorado for Thanksgiving to spend the weekend with our family there. We had a fantastic time. (Thanks Aunt Barb for a delicious dinner) We were able to go hiking and horseback riding. (Thanks to our cousin Amy and her friend David)... the girls had so much fun riding and learning about the horses. Considering it was only about 17 degrees I really appreciate how long they both stayed out there with the girls. (Thanks also to Amy for the anatomy lessons)...Amy has quite a collection of animal bones and very patiently taught the girls all about skeletal structure. Nothing like sitting down to a big pile of elk bones after dinner. We even got a doggie bag of bones for homeschooling purposes. So Happy Thanksgiving and thanks for the bones Amy!

  1. This image of Rachel with the horse is absolutely beautiful, looking into one another's eyes.

Funny how you were all looking at those bones after dinner, something you will always remember for sure!!
