The great outdoors

We are finally starting to get our life in to a manageable routine around here. Homeschooling 2 middle schoolers takes some serious juggling. So, now that we have settled into our groove, we decided to go away for the weekend. We went camping and had a great time. Hiking was beautiful, reading aloud by the campfire was cozy, girls helping out was fantastic....sleeping on the ground, not so much! My favorite kid comment was from Emma.....Emma and Hannah were watching Matt get the camp stove ready for pancakes and he was having some trouble with a stuck valve. Emma looks very seriously at Hannah and says "come on Hannah Let's go, we should leave Dad alone when he is about to get mad".
