Alpaca affection and Llama love

This weekend we went on a field trip with our knitting group to an Alpaca Farm. We learned all about Alpacas. Apparently they like to spit on people as a defense mechanism and when 2 approach you together it usually means they are going to spit on you. The girls called it Alpaca affection and Llama love (llamas are also camelids so they spit too). every time 2 or more would come near Hannah she would scurry away. It was funny to watch. we also visited an awesome yarn shop at the farm and learned all about Alpaca yarn. we saw the process of how it was made. Very interesting.
