Living and Loving for 38 years

For 38 years mommy has been living life to the fullest and caring for us with all her heart. Today we did all we could to show her that we notice everything she's done for as long as she's lived. This morning we made her breakfast (although we didn't get up early enough and we were all late to school, but it was worth it.) Tonight daddy made delicious free-range/local burgers and a spice cake with cream cheese frosting that was to die for. And when we all sang the "Happy Birthday" song I (Rachel) accompanied them with my flute. Then we surprised her with a performance. We sang two of her favorite songs, "Back Where I Come From" by Kenny Chesney and "These are a few of My Favorite Things." And, of course when we read her a poem we'd written she cried.
