good to get away....

Matt and I spent the weekend in Austin celebrating our anniversary. In a couple of weeks we will have been married for 15 years! It seems like only yesterday that we were lovestruck teenagers. Well, considering how young I am, it was only yesterday that I was a teenager! Ok, maybe that is wishful thinking. But seriously, we had a fantastic time in Austin. We ate at amazing restaurants, went for a run along the beautiful Lady Bird Lake trail every morning, and just relaxed. We missed the kids but it was really nice to get away and be reminded of why you married each other in the first place. Oh, and just to explain the dorky airport parking lot photos...when we were leaving I joked with Matt that we should take some pictures before we left just in case we forgot while we were actually in Austin. Well, we were so busy having fun we only got 2 pictures while we were there! Oh well, I guess things are always better in our memories anyway!
