I DID IT!

I learned how to knit several months ago and my goal was to be able to knit a scarf and hat. Well, last night I finished my first project! Emma and I were at the yarn shop a few weeks ago and she saw this purple yarn and thought the fuzzies were really cute so she asked me to get it and make her something. I surprised her with the hat this morning and she squealed with delight. I must say, I am quite proud of myself. I have already had requests for 2 more. Can't wait to get started.

PS: Talk about good timing. The winter storm just blew in this morning. It has been in the 70's for weeks. What a perfect day to wear this cozy hat....
